Exam strategy for UGC NET  paper 2 for  economics

   UGC NET consists of two Paper. Paper 1 is common for all and Paper 2 is subject-specific which carries 100 questions of 200 marks on a particular selected subject. Here we will discuss a strategy for an economic subject for paper 2. 

• Firstly take a printout of the entire syllabus of economics and also make a list of subtopics of each unit .As there are 10 units with subtopics. So we have to plan accordingly.
• Secondly prepare a time schedule of at least giving 4 hours on daily basis to economics. You will have to complete one unit within 3 to 4 days so that you can also save time for revision too.
• Make a separate note for each unit with its subtopics which will help us at the time of revision.
• You can take the help of study videos to understand the typical concept of economics which will further boost your preparation.
• Do not procrastinate your daily revision. Give daily a little time to revise all you studied in a day. Also, revise on weekly basis.
• Assess your study on daily basis by giving mock tests. Also, attempt a small mock test on the topic you studied.
• Do at least 3 to 4 previous year question papers to understand the trend of the exam. We can also get the weightage of each unit by analysing these PYQs.
• Also, add current affairs knowledge by reading the articles on economics in the newspaper. It will further boost our understanding of the subject.
• Manage your time accordingly and also take proper sleep and healthy food to make your body and mind active for continuous efforts.
• Also, give your body and mind rest once a week to refresh the mind from daily exhaustion. 
• We should keep ourselves motivated for daily efforts as we know that striving is the springboard to our success and true growth.
