Delhi Government recently launched an app named Green Delhi
The main objective of the application is to keep a track of increasing air pollution in the National Capital.
It will also help in bringing the pollution causing activities to the notice of the state government.
It will involve citizen participation and ensure timely action in the government’s fight against pollution.
The app enables citizens to register complaints, report pollution sources and violations of anti-pollution norms.
Citizens can take photos, videos and audio of local causes of pollution such as garbage burning; industrial pollution and construction dust among others and upload on the app.
Delhi residents can use application to inform the government about burning waste or dust or industrial pollution in the national capital region.
