From the Indian Premier League to the US Open and the NBA, tournaments have taken place amid Covid-19 using "bio-bubbles".
What is the Bio-bubble?
These are sanitised areas that can be accessed only by a certain set of people who are not infected with the virus.
This isolated space is closed to outsiders. Nobody can leave or enter once the bubble is in effect.
Each player required to wear a Bluetooth band at all times, which beeped if the person comes within two metres of somebody else.
What would be the bubble venue?
The bubble can be parts of a hotel or stadium. A player could travel only from the hotel to the stadium and back.
How the entry in the bubble is possible?
The players must clear the RT-PCR test at home and destination. They have to stay in the room till the results are declared.
What are its benefits?
It creates a safe environment for players.

What could be its side effects?
